Project Summary
Initial phase of enterprise wide data-estate modernization. The engagement established naming, access, infrastructure, networking, security, source-data, warehouse-schema, application-consumption, Power BI, and Spark requirements before deploying a platform comprising Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, VNets, Azure SQL Database, Synapse, Databricks, RBAC, and Key Vault.
Once the foundation was available, delivery moved through source ingestion and bronze/silver/gold ELT pipelines, downstream SQL/Synapse integration, application connections, and a Power BI reporting proof point, followed by planned troubleshooting, documentation, and handover.
Significant data complexity was uncovered as the project progressed, resulting in substantial change requests to incorporate new scope. This was reported weekly with transparent and candid project status reports, finally resulting in a proactive Change Request based on time phased progress, EVM, and forecast analytics.

demonstrated capabilities
The project schedule accommodated cross-functional delivery involving cloud infrastructure, security, data engineering, application integration, and reporting, with the client’s data team and external Azure data specialist coordination requiring constant planning and oversight.
Excellent example of data-platform delivery, technical workstream integration, MVP planning, evolving requirements and technical risk, and phased handover with funding milestones.
