Enterprise Azure Landing Zone

Project Summary

Large enterprise Landing Zone engagement with detailed environment analysis, design sign-off, implementation, testing, and planned operational handover.  Project addressed the management hierarchy, subscriptions, resource groups, regional and environment structure, hybrid networking, identity, security, policy, tags, RBAC, and automation.

Customer design approval served as the gate into a 28-day implementation sequence, including connectivity testing, troubleshooting, updated architecture, build book deliverables, and final handover presentation.

Project Details
  • Complex event sequencing with 60 explicit predecessor links and a sign-off gates
  • Analysis included hybrid sites, topology, segmentation, IP/DNS, firewall/NVA/BGP, connectivity, private links, identity, RBAC, security, DDoS, load-balancing options, and automation.
  • Implementation was a sequential build from management structure through network, connectivity, policy, tags, RBAC, testing, and peer review.
demonstrated capabilities

Project required proactively testing delivery assumptions against contracted scope and resource capacity, not only tracking dates and output.  The design-sign-off milestone functioned as a control point protecting implementation from unapproved architecture changes.
